The Albany Autumn season gives Londoners plenty of reasons to go out when the nights are closing in! An ever-expanding programme brings you cutting edge acts from the worlds of theatre, music, spoken word, clubbing and comedy - the biggest choice of events in South East London.

A highpoint is 1001 Nights Now, a co-production between The Albany and leading theatre company, Northern Stage (Tue 6 – Sat 17 Dec). A series of brutal, moving and often hilarious stories about life, love and fear and an honest attempt to examine and understand the issues surrounding refuge, war and migration, this is a show like no other. Created by Middle Eastern writers and performed by the UK’s leading Middle Eastern and Asian artists, including comedian Shazia Mirza, The Albany offers the only opportunity to see this thought-provoking production in London.
